There’s no better way for us to learn about God than by reading His own word. In just 8-15 minutes per day, we’ll invest valuable time into our faith with confidence that God will bear fruit in and through our lives because of it.

Decide how you’ll participate:

  • Physical bible
    • We recommend ESV, NIV, or NLT. Buy on Amazon or receive a gift from our Plug In Table at Riordan.
  • YouVersion Bible app
  • Audio bible
    • using Audible or other e-book apps, or through the YouVersion Bible App
Track your progress:

  • Pick up a paper copy of the plan this Sunday at Riordan
  • Download the CornerstoneSF app and enable Reading The Word notifications in settings
  • Download our printable PDF
  • Don’t worry if you miss a day! Start by reading each day’s reading then catch up on missed days when you’re able.

Commit to the same time daily:

  • Mornings work for most people: first thing before email, texts, or social media
  • Pair it with your wind down routine in the evening
  • Build it into your commute
  • Set a reminder on your phone, calendar, a post-it on the mirror

Jump in!

  • Take a moment to pray and welcome God into your time
  • Read slowly. Mark passages that inspire you, run a Google search on ones that confuse you, connect with a friend or small group to talk it out
  • If you can, also spend a few minutes in prayer, or worship to respond to God
